APPLICATION
It is the machine that separates the cream from milk during the pasteurization process.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The product is fed into the drum, where it will be decomposed under centrifugal force. The centrifugal force forces the product to flow through small-spaced discs. According to the density differences between the disks, the distinction between the light phase and the heavy phase flowing in opposite directions is provided.
Depending on the separator model, the heavy phase protrudes from the drum inner wall to the heavy phase centripetal pump*. The heavy phase is taken out of the separator under pressure with the help of a centripetal pump. The light phase protrudes from the drum center to the light phase centripetal pump, depending on the separator model. With the help of a light phase centripetal pump*, it is taken out of the separator under pressure. Counterpressure valves in the outlet pipes are used to regulate the interphase inside the drum.
Solid particles accumulate on the outer wall of the drum and are discharged out of the separator by partial and/or complete discharge processes at periodic intervals. During the partial discharge process, the product is not cut and only its solid volume is discharged, while in the full discharge process the entire drum volume is emptied. Partial and full discharge frequencies can be adjusted via the HMI interface with PLC control software.
